Elimination of Limitation

As a girl who is only 13 years old, you seriously won't believe how many times I've heard things like "you'll never be able to do it" or "you're crazy!" or "that's the dumbest idea I've ever heard!" The most I think I've ever learned through this is that letting these words affect you can be very crippling. So my dream here isn't something huge like world peace, save the whales or end world hunger, all I really dream of is to live a life where the word "limit" is unheard of. I wish to live to that I won't ever feel like I'm finished progressing in whatever my passion will be at whatever age or time in my life no matter how stupid people think my ideas are.

There is quite a bit of symbolism here that I would like to clear up; the sky symbolizes the fact that my dreams will keep getting higher and higher as I improve. The smokey, firey wings represent passion because passion is what will keep me going higher and higher. The butterflies at the bottom represent the people who encourage me and help me go higher like my parents, my sister and close friends c: Now the pig will most likely be interpreted as to the meaning "when pigs fly" indicating an impossible dream suddenly being fulfilled. This is true, but the pig also represents a little bit of greed. I believe that in order to progress, you must always be unsatisfied and want a little bit more. Would a person who is completely happy with their life in every way aim to sharpen their skills? I think not.

I spent SO much time on this and I can say that I am very proud of the result. The pig's fur alone took 5 hours. Then of course I had to stay up late to do all this. I must've fallen asleep a time or two in class but it was totally worth it xD

Anyway, can I jsut say that because of this I really, REALLY want you guys to "Favorite" this piece to help me in this contest? I'd be so grateful because I know I'm not popular on DA in the least.

Having a DD or whatever never interested me that much but to win a prize (*cough* super amazing intuos4 tablet in which id probably waste so much journal space squealing about xD) from this contest would be AWESOME and im fairly sure they take the amount of favorites you get into consideration. D:
